DOCman 1.3 j10 to DOCman 1.4 j10

Before you can upgrade to DOCman 1.4, you need to install a patch that prevents the Joomla from deleting your data.

Upgrade process:

  1. Download docman_patch_for_v1.3rc2.zip
  2. Unzip the package
  3. Install the patch (see the included README inside the package for detailed instructions)
  4. Uninstall DOCman 1.3
  5. Install DOCman 1.4

Note: Reverting to DOCman 1.3 after installing DOCman 1.4 will cause you to loose your data. Take precautions!
