Share documents with group users

A group of registered users can see specific documents that public visitors or other users can't see.
Solution
1. Create a user group
- Navigate to Users > Groups > New.
- Create a user group named Important users.
- Set Group Parent to Registered.
- Click Save & Close.
2. Create menu item
- Set Title to Documents.
- Set Menu Item Type to DOCman > (Default) Hierarchical List.
3. Assign users
- Navigate to Components > DOCman > Users.
- Select all the users you want to give access.
- Click Assign to group.
- Select the Important users group.
- Click Assign.
4. Create documents
- Navigate to Components > DOCman > Documents.
- Open an existing document or create a new document.
- Under Permission set Access to Groups and select Important users.
- Click Save & Close.
You can also share documents with individual users.
