A new download center

The number of available downloads in our Member Center is steadily growing and attracting a lot of activity. To prepare for the upcoming stable release of DOCman 2.0 we gave the download area on our Member Center a fresh coat of paint.

As we improve our extensions the inevitable retirement of their predecessors comes closer. To make this more clear the download area now shows a clear distinction between the current and archived versions of our extensions.

For example, you will find the 2.0, 1.6 and 1.5 and 1.4 releases for DOCman. The legacy DOCman 1.4 version is included for customers who are still running old 1.3 and 1.4 installations and need to update.

We urge you to update to the latest version of DOCman because these versions are no longer supported. You can find the instructions in the Upgrading section of our documentation along with all the files you need in the new downloads section!

Some of you let us know that it wasn’t very clear when a certain version had been released. That’s why we’re now clearly indicating the latest release date below each folder.

Better changelogs

To make sure you know exactly what our team has been working on, each download also features the complete changelog now . Click on the “See what’s new” link on the download page to get all the info you need.

To make things even more easy to find, we have also updated your dashboard. The previous version of your dashboard only showed the extension releases and not the add-ons.

From now on, whenever a new extension, translation file or migration tool gets updated, your dashboard will let you know the moment you login into the [Member center!][1]

We hope you’ll find your way around our new download center! As always, we’d love to hear your feedback on our support forums!
